Jorge Figueroa
The Mission-Driven Leader
Jorge Figueroa brings a unique, results-driven perspective to the world of business coaching, forged over two decades of leadership and service in complex and challenging environments.
A native of San Juan, Puerto Rico, Jorge's journey of leadership, discipline, and commitment began when he moved to Orlando, FL in 1991 to attend the University of Central Florida (UCF) on a U.S. Army ROTC scholarship. His dedication led to his commissioning as a Second Lieutenant as an Armor Officer in 1994. For the next 20 years, he proudly served his country in the U.S. Army successfully leading organizations through multiple challenging deployments overseas. Jorge subsequently completed a Master's Degree from Chapman University in Organizational Leadership.
Upon retiring from active service, he was able to transition into the private sector, leveraging his leadership expertise as a contractor in corporate America. In 2022, Jorge decided to venture into entrepreneurship by establishing JAF Security & Consulting Firm, subsequently purchasing a Fibrenew franchise and currently he owns Elev8 Leadership Solutions. In 2023, he became a John C. Maxwell certified coach, trainer, and speaker. Jorge is married to Patricia Gongora and they have two adult children, Alvaro Jose and Jorge Andres. They currently live in Orlando, Florida.
About Your Instructor
Jorge Figueroa
Jorge Figueroa was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico where he lived his childhood and early adulthood. He moved to Orlando, FL to attend the University of Central Florida on a US Army ROTC scholarship. Jorge graduated from the University of Central Florida in 1994 and was commissioned a Second Lieutenant as an Armor Officer.
For the next 20 years of his life, Jorge served his country stationed in the US and multiple deployments overseas and subsequently completed a Master's Degree from Chapman University in Organizational Leadership.
Upon completion of his military career, Jorge and his family returned to Orlando, FL where he joined the ranks of corporate America working overseas as a contractor.
In 2022, Jorge decided to venture into entrepreneurship with a Fibrenew franchise dedicated to the repair and restoration of leather, plastics, and vinyl. In 2023 he became a John C. Maxwell certified coach, trainer, and speaker. Jorge is married to Patricia Gongora and they have two adult children, Alvaro Jose and Jorge Andres. They currently live in Orlando, Florida.
